Hey all! Been a month since I posted something bigger. No fear, I’m still writing, still moving forward on book 3. A nice vacation and some busy times at work have kept me from doing anything extra, like updating a website.
Having a great vacation with family has recharged my batteries. Sometimes you really need to step away from everything and give your brain time to unwind. Since returning, I’ve finished a chapter that had been giving me trouble and have a clear direction to get to get to the end of Act 1. In all three books, Act 1 has always been my biggest challenge. I love writing about the big fight scenes, the space battles, but setting up the little minutia that keeps the story interesting, that moves thing forward, that’s work for me.
Barring any other interruptions, I will be back on my normal update schedule. Catch me on your favorite social media platform, and don’t be afraid to say “hi”!
