The hardest thing I have ever written is by far this third book. So many false starts, revisions when things weren’t going right, corrupted files, and more. Yet still I keep plugging away. Ya see, that’s the thing about writing. You have to keep going. One word at a time and as long as you don’t quit, you’ll finish the journey.

This posts image is, interestingly enough, from the last chapter of book 1. Seems oddly fitting for this message. Fly, walk, limp or even drag it out one word at a time. My goal is for 2025. It’s goign to be spectacular.

    Now, back to writing.

Sorry, haven’t posted much on the main blog lately. Every time I think about making the time, I realize I could use that time to actually make progress on book 3. So, I do that instead. Nice thing is this thought process is working and I’m closing out another chapter. Not quite done revising the previous chapter, but that moves at its own pace.

Looks like book 3 is going to be a 2025 offering. By the time I finish my writing and revising, it will have to be scheduled for the editor. Hang in their folks, it’s going to be an exciting ride!

Thanks for your support! Img today is from book 1 chapter 26!

Small update. Progress is being made!

I find it hard to progress the story not knowing what has happened before. My thought process greatly benefits from having more polished pre-seeding chapters. Once Act One is complete, there will still be polishing to do, but the heavy lifting will be over. This process feels slow, but I remind myself that Iā€™m laying a strong groundwork that many writers tackle later on.

Keeping the words flowing. Today’s image is chapter 25 book 1.

I’m back to working the way I like to the most. That means I’m revising a previous chapter, while handwriting the newest chapter. I have found a new app, well new for me, called Nebo.

The handwriting-to-text in this app is by far the best I have ever found. I will spend a lot less time cleaning up the conversion and more time writing. Nice win for me. I love handwriting and, at least for me, it transfers what I’m thinking to the written word easier than typing. Samsung Notes was good, but still missed a good bit of my flowy writing. Nebo has kept up with me word for word. So happy with this app.

I put in a lot of effort to type this book, but my limited computer time prevents me from making significant progress. My tablet and S-Pen allow me the flexibility to write wherever and whenever I can. No more playing around in different ways. I know what works for me.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for book 3 act 1. This act is the hardest for me to write, same with all my other books to. So assuming time permits, it’s clear sailing from here.

On words to more words. This posts img is from book 1 chapter 24.
