Interesting things happen when you write. A scene I had planned in my head for the middle of the book, fit better at the beginning. No spoilers, but it’s a fun scene that really draws from the premise of “submarine in space”.
Each book I’ve written I’ve done in a slightly different matter. This is mostly me having fun, but it has also led to each book having a different feel. I enjoy that because it keeps thing interesting for me, gives me growth as a writer and it’s also showing the growth of my main character, Jax. I didn’t really plan that last part, but now that recognize it, I might lean into it a bit for book 3. As always, it’s an adventure.
